Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account & Line Manager to lead a team of brand ambassadors representing premium soft drink and spirit brands. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional field execution, maintaining the highest standards of brand presentation, and acting as a key liaison between our agency and the client. This role requires strong leadership, data analysis, people management & organisation, strategic thinking and multi-tasking. 

Job Description 

  • Drinks industry (ideal: spirits, soft drink, or premium beverages) 

  • Luxury On-Trade, premium retail, or hospitality 

  • Experiential marketing & brand activation 

  • Previous agency experience is often preferred, but not always essential. 

Management Experience 

  • Direct line management of a small-to-medium team (5–15 people). 

  • Experience coaching brand ambassadors, sales reps, & event staff. 

  • On-the-ground experience in the UK premium on-trade 

Client-Facing Experience 

  • Routine involvement in client reporting, reviews, and strategic planning. 

  • Experience participating in or leading client meetings. 

Performance & Reporting Experience 

  • Using tools like Trello, Microsoft Office, or bespoke BA reporting platforms. 

  • Experience translating numbers into insights (e.g., coverage, rate of sale, engagement metrics). 

Event & Activation Experience (Preferred) 

  • Managing premium events, masterclasses, tastings, or trade activations. 

  • Familiarity with on-trade (bars, hotels) and off-trade (retail) environments. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

Daily Team Communication & Support 

  • Serve as the daily point of contact for all ambassadors. 

  • Share updates and key information from clients, 

  • Provide quick responses to questions and maintain strong relationships 

Coordinate Activations & Field Activities 

  • Schedule ambassadors for tastings, training, activations and events requested by clients 

  • Confirm event logistics between clients and Global Bartending. 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting 

  • Schedule weekly 121s with ambassadors. 

  • Schedule monthly group calls with the full ambassador team 

  • Monitor KPIs on a weekly basis. 

  • Identify top performers and provide coaching to those underperforming. 

  • Monitor ambassador reporting for post event debriefs and monthly breakdown reporting. 

  • Report to client monthly programme updates 

Brand Quality Control 

  • Ensure ambassadors follow all brand guidelines. 

  • Correct off-brand messaging immediately. 

  • Maintain and distribute a library of approved brand assets. 

  • Lead on creation of tools and assets to support the Brand Ambassadors for activations and trainings. Acting as the liaison with client Brand Team on the development and signoff of materials and assets. 

Logistics, Inventory & POS Management 

  • Coordinate product shipments to ambassadors for sampling events. 

  • Manage inventory of stock and POS in Ambassador storage units. Balance PAR levels on a monthly basis. 

Team Motivation & Culture Building 

  • Keep ambassadors motivated with recognition, incentives, and team challenges. 

  • Foster a positive, energetic brand culture consistent with a lifestyle premium drink brand experience. 

Social media | Content Management 

  • Work in collaboration with our Social Media Manager to manage the content plan for dedicated client social channels managed by Global Bartending and any additional content developed by and/or for the Brand Ambassadors & their partner venues. 

KPI Tracking | Social Media Management 

  • Manage all Brand Ambassador KPIs related to social media, ensuring that a comprehensive and holistic content plan is broadcast from all BA social accounts and required number of compliant posts are achieved.
