ABOUT REMY

Remy is well regarded among drinks connoisseurs for his extensive cocktails and spirit knowledge. After years of travelling and bartending across the world, Remy settled in Paris for 5 Years and became the face of Little Red Door where he was actively involved in promoting the bar through guest bartending shifts around the world. It was here that Remy playfully questioned the drinking experience, implementing philosophical notions in his taught process. Every detail from the lighting to the menu design serves a purpose in Remy’s mind.

Remy left Paris in 2017 to take his ‘dream job’ at Artesian in the Langham Hotel, London, where he worked for +2 years, rebuilding the reputation of one of the most notorious bars on the planet.

In 2019, Remy was made director of Le Syndicat, a multi-award winning Parisian cocktail bar. Remy opened London’s A Bar With Shapes For a Name in spring 2021 and, in little over a year, the bar was among the World’s 50 Best Bars.

In June 2023, Remy was recognised as the 6th Most Influential Industry Figure in Bar World 100’s annual coveted awards.
