ABOUT NICO

Globe-trotter bartender, Nico de Soto, has visited 104 countries, organising pop-ups in 45 of them. An avid traveller, Nico visited all bars listed in the Top 100 World’s 50 Best Bars 2018 list and 63 of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Parisian born and raised, Nico learned his craft behind many of the World’s Best Bars in London, Paris and New York. His unique experience reflects in Nico’s bartending style and he is globally known today for bringing back and popularising the Clarified Milk Punch and for introducing pandan as a new trend in bartending.

Nico is behind Danico in Paris and Mace in New York, both frequently listed in the World’s 50 Best Bars, and opened Kaido in Miami together with James Beard Award multi-nominated chef, Brad Kilgore.

Nico has his own line of bar tools created in collaboration with the world leader barware company Cocktail Kingdom.

In 2023, Nico de Soto was place 23rd in Bar World 100’s Most Influential Industry Figures.
