AMAZONICO X LOST EXPLORER

THE BRIEF

We were tasked to design and build a bespoke infusion system for Amazónico Restaurant Group in partnership with the lost explorer - a striking centrepiece inspired by the Amazon River that could slowly infuse mezcal with fruits, spices, and herbs to enhance the restaurant’s cocktail programme.

OUR SOLUTION

Global Bartending engineered and delivered the Amazónico x Lost Explorer Infuser - a six-glass installation that now takes pride of place at the front of the restaurant. Designed to infuse mezcal
over 12–36 hours, the system balances technical precision with visual theatre, unlocking complex layers of flavour.

We explored multiple techniques, materials, and filtration methods to engineer a system where
every detail - from flow rate to ingredient interaction - tells a story of patience, transformation,
and innovation. Echoing the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest, the infuser brings storytelling, craftsmanship and design innovation together – creating a one-of-a-kind focal point that elevates both the guest experience and the art of cocktail making.
